SNX bearings have high-performance characteristics, but they may be damaged as part of the machine, so some correct methods can extend their service life to a certain extent.
1. Cleaning of bearings
When disassembling imported bearings for maintenance, first record the appearance of the bearings, confirm the remaining amount of lubricant, and after sampling the lubricant for inspection, clean the bearings.
As a cleaning agent, gasoline and kerosene are usually used.
The cleaning of bearing disassembly can be divided into coarse cleaning and fine cleaning. Firstly, place them in a container, and then first place the bottom of the metal wire mesh pad so that the WSN bearings do not come into direct contact with the dirt in the container.
During the rough cleaning process, if the bearing rotates with dirt, it will damage the rolling surface of the bearing, so care should be taken.
In crude cleaning oil, use a brush to remove grease and attachments. After rough cleaning, please perform a fine cleaning.
Fine cleaning is the process of carefully cleaning bearings while rotating with clean oil.
In addition, the cleaning oil should also be kept clean.
2. Maintenance of bearings
In order to determine whether the removed bearings can be reused, it is necessary to clean the bearing and raceway surfaces, rolling surfaces, matching surfaces, retainer wear, increased bearing clearance, and any related issues
Abnormal damage and reduced dimensional accuracy.
For non separable ball bearings, support the inner ring horizontally with one hand and then rotate the outer ring to confirm its smoothness.
Separate imported bearings, such as tapered roller bearings, can be inspected separately for the raceway surfaces of the rolling element and outer ring.
Due to the inability of large bearings to rotate by hand, please pay attention to checking the appearance of the rolling element. The more important the bearing is, the more careful the inspection is required.
3. Criteria for judging whether bearings are damaged
The determination of whether it can be reused is based on consideration of the degree of bearing damage, mechanical performance, importance, working conditions, and until the next repair.
However, if the following defects cannot be used anymore, the bearings must be replaced with new ones:
There are cracks or notched elements and cages in the inner ring, outer ring, and rolling element;
There are fractures on either ring or rolling element;
3 raceway surfaces, ribs, and rolling elements;
4. The retainer is significantly worn or the rivets are noticeably loose;
5. Rust and damage to the surface and rolling elements of the raceway;
There are severe dents and scratches on the surface of the raceway and rolling elements;
The inner diameter surface of the inner ring or the outer diameter surface of the outer ring;
8 obvious discoloration caused by heat;
9. Sealed grease bearings, sealing rings or dust covers are significantly damaged
